About me
I'm Abrham, a video editor in Addis Ababa. For five years I've cut UGC ads for DTC brands: B-roll ads, talking heads with inserts, before and afters. 350+ ads so far.
Today I'm lead video editor and editing manager at Based Supplies, a DTC skincare brand. I edit my own ads, review every editor's cut against its brief, write the SOPs and train the team.
I edit from the brief, line by line, and every concept goes out with three hooks ready to test. When one wins, I build on it instead of starting from zero.

How I work Open a line to read it in full
Brief first, line by line
I edit from the brief line by line, and I flag anything in it that won't work before I start, not after.
The first two seconds
They carry the ad. Every concept goes out with three hooks ready to test, and I iterate on the winner instead of starting from zero.
Show the problem plainly
If her skin or her part looks fine in the before, the after can't sell. Before/afters have to show the problem clearly.
Cast the buyer
The person on screen has to match the buyer, in age and in the problem. Viewers notice when she doesn't.
AI where it holds up
Kling, Nano Banana, ElevenLabs and fal.ai video models fill B-roll gaps, inserts, product shots and voiceovers. Every generated clip is checked frame by frame (hands, faces, labels); testimonials stay real.
Workflows that scale
I built AI workflows in DaVinci Resolve for rough cuts, captions, B-roll and QC, so volume goes up without the quality dropping.
Safe zones and QC
Captions stay inside the TikTok, Instagram and Facebook safe zones. Every export gets a QC pass: missing audio, black frames, wrong versions, wrong assets.
Lead the team
I review every editor's video against its brief, write the feedback and the SOPs, and run a weekly meeting on what came back from review and what's performing.

He wasn't just an editor, he truly understood what kind of ads performed for our brand
Abrham understood everything extremely well, He wasn't just an editor, he truly understood what kind of ads performed for our brand, He consistently took full ownership of his work, which made him someone we could always rely on.
From the start, Abrham was exactly what we were looking for. The editing quality was top-tier, communication was seamless, and we only wish we had more projects to work on together..
Working with Abrham has changed my life. It sounds crazy but the spark and momentum I feel with social media can truly be life changing. It all started 30 days ago and we teamed up on a social media project. He literally helped me grow from 0-1600+ followers within these 30 days!!! On top of that, he’s a great, compassionate person and has given great life and motivational advice. He’s the guy. Thank you so much and we’ll stay in touch
Overall great work, Abrham goes above and beyond in all the work he touches. He pays great attention to detail and is a constant learner.
Working with Abrham completely changed our social presence. In just over a month, we grew from 3K to 7K followers, with multiple videos surpassing 100K views and engagement skyrocketing.
